Relaxing place, nicely updated rooms. Nice building and rooms with fjord view. Particularly good and magnificent location, a 10-15 minute walking distance from The golden house Art Gallery. Good restaurant at a medium distance from the hotel. Outstanding and fantastic food for breakfast. Friendly service, parking on-site. The early check-in process too. Simply no complaints, wonderful stay.

The total stay was perfect for our quick visit in Balestrand. The breakfast offered a huge variety of options and was savoury and nice hot. This accommodation was in the central location in the harbor. What's more, it was close enough to the lovely garden, the hillside overlooking the fjord, and Balestrand and the swimming nearby.

A beautifully decorated and lovely welcoming hotel, my first choice in Balestrand. Perfectly clean place accompanied by really helpful staff. Excellent and lovely location, an easy walk to everywhere.

The hotel's location is stunning and magnificent with free parking. The room is newly remodelled and well-appointed with an absolutely stunning view over the bay. All in all they offer excellent service. Will be back if I go to Balestrand.

This relaxing hotel tempted us with nice views. The room was functional and nicely updated; the bed was very comfy. The service was friendly, no reason to complain. The location was particularly good and magnificent, for example, Raudmelen was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the property. The hotel was a fantastic base for enjoying a beautiful area. The food was outstanding and fantastic, loved it. We had wonderful experience and will be returning here soon.

We stayed at a small hotel in a charming town in Norway over Easter. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed. The hotel had recently been upgraded, and it looked even better than the pictures online. The breakfast was delicious and filling, with a wide variety of options. We particularly appreciated that they made sure to have breakfast available for us when we had to leave early. the location of the hotel was perfect, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.

The hotel's Wi-Fi had a weak connection, which was a bit frustrating. It would be great if they could improve this aspect.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming family-run hotel in a scenic location. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating, even meeting us at the ferry to assist with our luggage. The fjord view from our balcony was absolutely stunning, well worth the extra cost. The room was comfortable and clean, with heated bathroom floors as a bonus. Although the breakfast selection was limited compared to other hotels in Norway, there were enough options to start the day. we highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the beautiful surroundings.

That was lovely welcoming hotel set in very nice area, close to St Olaf's church, Balestrand via the Nutshell train/boat system from Oslo, and the hiking, biking, and dining available in Balestrand. The room was newly remodelled and decent sized with a breathtaking view of the mountain. The bathroom was nice size with bathtubs. We spent a really lovely time here, would recomand to anyone.

I had the most incredible stay at a hotel in Balestrand. The room was not only spacious and well-appointed, but it also had a balcony with a breathtaking view of the fjord. Every morning, I started my day with a delicious breakfast spread, including fresh fruit, breads, yogurt, and coffee. The hotel owner, Unni-Marie, was so knowledgeable and helpful, offering great advice on activities and even arranging transportation for us. The hotel's dedication to preserving vintage items added a unique charm to the place. I highly recommend this hotel.

Clean and wonderful place, has excellent views of a mountain. It has marvellous central location next to the most amazing hiking trails. And it's nestled in a big building not far from Balestrand via the Nutshell train/boat system from Oslo and town center and transportation and the fjord and the lovely garden.
